In a world full of black and white, be a Leopard.

I started BlackWhiteLeopard with an idea that as people our ideas can be one of three things: black, white or grey. I like to refer to the grey as leopard because that is typically how I dress. Black and white with a pop of leopard. We can certainly all add a pop of leopard to the way we think. The world is full of so many all or nothing attitudes we could use a bit more critical thinking in the mix. The goal here is to offer readers a glimpse into my thoughts and experiences of a girl who grew up in a small, rural town in South Louisiana and made her way to Chicago as a partner at a law firm and now back to her Southern roots in Franklin, TN. I hope to offer some lighthearted posts on my life, interior design and real estate. But I also I have a deep love of the law, debate and politics. I hope to challenge your thinking from a black or white stance to that of a leopard in situations too. I'm not here for hate and anger but rather discussion, and more importantly, understanding and learning from others through discussion and dialogue. Xoxo
